Thought

Idea

Thought is a product that the mind produces.

According to the theoretical definition, thought is that which is brought into reality through intellectual activity . Therefore, it can be said that thoughts are products created by the mind , which can appear through rational processes of the intellect or through abstractions of the imagination .

Thought can encompass a set of operations of reason , such as analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization and abstraction. On the other hand, we must take into account that it manifests itself in language and even determines it.

Types of thinking

Reflecting

Freedom of thought may be limited by pressure or repressive actions.

Use of freedom

One of the rights of all human beings, and yet the one that most often intimidates them with its potential dire consequences, is freedom of thought or expression. In childhood, people are usually characterized by spontaneity and sincerity, without caring about the impact of our actions or words . It is very common for children to talk to themselves and let their imagination fly, ignoring a group of adults who look at them tenderly. The same degree of nonchalance is perceived when they say with absolute sincerity that they do not like a gift or a plate of food.

Over the years, structures and mandates gradually turn us into limited beings, who seem to gradually lose control over their own lives. The main problem is that we want to believe that this is not so , we deny it, and we assure that we live freely, that we choose the direction of our lives at every step . However, those people who once smiled and were amazed at the little things, today race against the clock to complete the innumerable tasks of their busy days, they are ashamed of their bodies, they are afraid to tell the truth so as not to offend others. Others hide their sexuality and their ideas for fear of attacks from those who cannot stand diversity .

Pressures and limits to free thought

Our freedom of thought is restricted by society in all its aspects, and attempts are made to make citizens accept the limits with subtle manipulation techniques and, when these fail, repression is applied.

It is common to find newspapers, magazines and newscasts where certain words that do not favor the government in power cannot be mentioned , television channels that incite violence, discrimination and contempt, as well as decisions by Justice that support aggression. to animals, as is the case of fines for those who protest bullfighting .

Another meaning

Outside the framework of the mind, pansies can be understood as hybrid plants for ornamental purposes , belonging to the Violaceae family, and presenting several fine bouquets, flowers on long peduncles and with five rounded petals of three chromatic ranges and sitting leaves. , oblong and scalloped, as explained by the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) .

Pansies begin to bloom during the spring season in northern Europe and the northern United States. They are usually grown next to the alder due to the combination of colors that is obtained when their flowers emerge at the same time.
