Wicked can refer to something unequal or unfair.
The adjective wicked derives from the Latin word inīquus . A Latin word is one that is formed from the sum of two Latin lexical components. We are referring to the prefix “in-”, which is equivalent to “no” and “without”, and the adjective “aequus”, which can be translated as “equal”.
It is used to describe the opposite of equity (equality, balance). The concept can also be used with reference to what is unfair or mean .
