Early

Clock

Early is that which is before or before the planned or ordinary time.

Early is a term whose etymological origin takes us to the Latin word temporanĕus . The concept, which is used to name something that is prior to or prior to ordinary or regular time , can be used as an adjective or adverb .

Whoever arrives early to a place, therefore, will have arrived ahead of schedule or usual. For example: “I think it's early: the theater doors haven't opened yet,” “Good morning, I have an appointment at ten with Dr. Jirak, but I arrived a little early,” “I've been waiting for half an hour because I arrived early.” ” .

Early can also refer to what happens faster than usual or something is just beginning . If it is said that a soccer team scored a goal early, it will be referring to the fact that said score took place in the first minutes of the game.

Early stages or moments

For biology and other sciences, something early is something that is in the initial phase of its development. One can speak, in this sense, of the Early Cretaceous (a geological period), of early Buddhism (the Buddhist current that developed in the first century after the death of Gautama Buddha), etc.

In the same way we can establish that there is what is known as early age : this is a term used to refer to youth.

The first hours of the day or night and the beginning of a certain period of time are other moments that can be classified as early: “Today I started the day very early since I have to go to my grandmother Clota's house” , “The “The night is just beginning, it's early to go home,” “Don't worry: it's still early and there's still a lot to do.”

Bank

The initial moment of something can be mentioned as early.

The term in the media and literature

Temprano is also the surname of a well-known journalist and photographer of the gossip press in Spain . This is Miguel Temprano , famous for being a collaborator on various television programs and for having made important exclusives within that journalistic field.

Precisely also in the field of the small screen it should be noted that there is a soap opera titled “Come back early” . This production is from Chile , authored by Daniella Castagno, and stars actors such as Amparo Noguera , Matías Oviedo , Andrés Velasco and Marcelo Alonso .

The story told in that series is that of a married couple, a lawyer and a news presenter, who seem to have a happy life with their children. But the reality is that both are totally oblivious to the reality of their children, since they do not know that one is pregnant, that another has an addiction or that the third is involved in somewhat dark affairs that will make him appear dead.

Within the world of literature, finally, we also find numerous works that use the term in question for their titles. This would be the case, for example, of “Tarde o Temprano” , which was published in 2000 . The author of this compendium of poems is José Emilio Pacheco .
