sexual stimulation

Sensuality is associated with sexual stimulation.

Sensuality is the condition of one or that which is sensual . This adjective , for its part, is linked to the senses and, especially, to sexual desire .

Sensuality is called (a term that comes from the Latin sensualĭtas ), therefore, the quality that favors sexual stimulation . In the case of people, sensuality is associated with personality and physical appearance : when these two factors manage to awaken sexual desire in other individuals, the person is said to be sensual.

Sensuality and subjectivity

Because sexual attraction is subjective , there is no single type of sensuality. However, there are common characteristics or elements that are usually shared at a social level and that allow us to affirm that certain people have great sensuality, since they attract many men and/or women.

It can be said that sensuality consists of attracting attention and generating a reaction linked to sexuality . In its broadest sense, sensuality is associated with the senses. Thus, a sensual person brings about this through sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste.

Having a toned body, wearing clothes that allow you to appreciate said physical state, using perfume, having soft skin and speaking suggestively are some of the characteristics that make for sensuality.

It is possible to consider sensuality both from what an individual generates in another and through the personal enjoyment of sensory pleasures. A person who enjoys his sensuality, therefore, will generate a reaction in another and will also dedicate time and effort to enjoy the stimuli that he captures with his senses.

Physical appearance and personality are two factors that affect sensuality.

sexual orientation

Despite the different sexual orientations that society tries to cling to to divide us into groups, many people accept without fear of prejudice that the sensuality of certain individuals has an irresistible effect on them despite belonging to the sex to which they supposedly should not feel attracted. .

In other words, there are heterosexual men who admit a slight vulnerability to the appearance and manner of other men, although this does not mean that they actually want to have sexual relations with them, and the same may be true in all other cases.

Sensuality and social rules

Sensuality is so tied to the characteristics of a society that it is very difficult to imagine how we would perceive people considered sensual if the rules were extremely different . Let's think about some of the impositions that women have in the West: taking care of their skin with various products to delay aging and show off a radiant texture; keep your hair free of gray hair and make sure to change your hairstyle frequently; take care of your figure , which for many entails the obligation to avoid certain foods; Choose clothes that are attractive but not very revealing, to avoid being labeled "vulgar."

If a woman meets these and other implicit mandates of society, and if an interesting manner and a captivating voice are added to the equation, she is likely to be considered sensual by those around her. An important question we can ask ourselves is which of these elements are essential to achieve sensuality, and the answer seems to be very simple: none of them .

Thanks to diversity , one of the greatest gifts of nature, although also one of the most common reasons for confrontation between human beings, each one can understand sensuality in a different way. That said, in a society whose rules were opposite to those we know, perhaps an overweight, bald, short man with a significant neglect of his personal hygiene could be the living image of sensuality.
