Remuneration

Money

Remuneration can be a payment or reimbursement.

Retribution , originating from the Latin retributĭo , is a term that allows us to name the payment , stimulus , expenditure , reimbursement or gratification that a person receives for a certain task or action.

For example: "I'm interested in the job, but I would like to know what the remuneration is" , "If you agree to help me, you will be compensated" , "Next Saturday's cleaning day will be without remuneration" .

Labor compensation

In the field of employment and the economy , the idea of remuneration is associated with the money that a person receives for their work . Said money is given by the employer, which can be the State or a private company , in exchange for certain activities that the worker must carry out. It should be noted that the employer-employee relationship is regulated by an employment contract and by labor laws : remuneration, therefore, is framed in these regulations.

This means that a worker receives a remuneration that is agreed upon with his employer but that, in addition, is subject to certain legislative regulation. There are minimum wages that employers must respect, which means that a worker in a certain sector cannot earn less than what is stipulated by law .

This legal protection does not reach informal or black workers, who are not registered by the employer. That is why it is important that employees are always registered in the corresponding registers and that they can receive their blank remuneration.

Just as for a worker their remuneration is income, for employers the remuneration of their employees represents a cost or cost : they need to pay said remuneration to have production, which allows them to obtain their profits.

Salary

When a worker completes his task, he receives compensation.
