Bedroom

A bedroom can be a bedroom.

Bedroom is a concept that is used in different ways. On the one hand, it may be the room that is located after the main room and is used to store clothes or jewelry.

For example: “Can you check if my coat is in the bedroom? I can't find it in the bedroom” , “The intruder tried to hide in the bedroom, but was discovered by the homeowner , “We have to paint the bedroom and fix the ceiling” .

Different uses of the term bedroom

The idea of having something in the bedroom is usually used with reference to someone who has something prepared or planned : “The Spanish team has John Ramletti in the bedroom in case the hiring of the Brazilian forward does not prosper,” “I have several songs in the bedroom.” : If there is time, I will gladly perform them for the entire audience” , “We have nothing in the bedroom or any type of alternative plan” .

According to the geographic region, on the other hand, the idea of bedroom can be used to mention different issues, such as a bedroom , caution or an explosive : “Juan sleeps in the bedroom,” “This boy does not behave with a bedroom.” ” , “The chamber exploded inside the bottle” .

Space of a firearm

The chamber is also the space in a firearm used to hold ammunition. This means that when a gun has bullets in the chamber, it is loaded and, therefore, can be used to fire a shot.

“The revolver was found with three bullets in the chamber”, “The projectile was stuck in the chamber and did not come out”y “Stay calm, the bedroom is empty.” son expresiones que muestran este uso.

Gun

The space in a firearm where ammunition is loaded is called the chamber.

Bedroom types

The concepts of an open and closed chamber are described below, but first it is necessary to explain the meaning of a semi-automatic and automatic weapon : the first is any that uses the gases produced by the shot to insert a new cartridge into the chamber and move the bolt towards back to allow a new shot; The automatic ones differ in that it is enough to press the trigger once to fire several simultaneous shots.

Open bedroom

When a firearm, whether automatic or semi-automatic, does not have a cartridge placed in its chamber and the bolt in its rear position (which is also called cocked ) it is called open chamber or open bolt firing. By pressing the trigger, the bolt is released, advances and it is possible to insert a cartridge into the chamber, after which it must be closed, to finally fire, unless the closure must be locked first.

After firing, if the bolt has been locked, the unlocking mechanisms come into action and it continues its movement towards the rear, ejects the used case and, upon reaching the end of its travel, leaves the weapon ready for a new shot.

Closed bedroom

Almost opposite to the previous case, we speak of closed chamber firing when a semi-automatic or automatic weapon does have a cartridge placed in the chamber and the bolt in the forward and locked position. The shot is fired by pressing the trigger, at which time the mechanisms responsible for extracting the case act and place a new cartridge, close and lock the bolt so that the weapon is ready for another shot.

Advantages and disadvantages of open bolt

Advantages of the open bedroom

  • Its manufacture is less expensive .
