Fifth is a term with several uses. It can be what follows the fourth and precedes the sixth in a certain order . Fifth in music

In terms of music , the fifth is an interval formed by a semitone and three tones . In other words, the interval composed of five musical notes is a fifth.

The distance that exists between the note C and the note G , to cite one case, is a fifth: C is the first note of the fragment, D is the second, E is the third, F is the letter and G is the fifth note. (there are, therefore, five notes: do-re-mi-fa-sol).

Dwelling

In South American countries, a villa is a construction located outside the urban center and generally intended for leisure and rest.

The concept in music

Within the musical field, we have to explain that there are different groups that have the word quinta in their names. A clear example of this is La Quinta Estación , a Spanish pop music group that was born in 2000 and was in operation until 2010 , after having achieved great success both in its country and in America .

Angel Reyero, Pablo Dominguez y Natalia Jimenez fueron los integrantes de esa banda, que logró una gran lista de galardones tales como un Friend Award, un Latin Billboard, dos Latin Grammys o dos Waves Awards, entre otros. Y eso fue gracias a canciones tales como “The sun does not return”, “The world is wrong”, “I'm dying” o “That I loved you”. En la actualidad, la solista es la única que continúa con su carrera musical, pero en solitario.

In relation to music, there was also a television program that achieved significant success in Spain during the 90s . We are referring to “The Fifth March” , aimed at a young audience, which included everything from the broadcast of video clips of the artists of the moment, to reports on topics of interest to that population group, to live performances by groups. and singers from all over the world. Although it had several presenters, those who used this space to “catapult themselves” were Jesús Vázquez , one of the best-known current figures on television in the country, and the now international actress Penélope Cruz .

The fifth as a construction

The notion of fifth can also be used to name a certain type of construction , whose specific meaning may vary according to the area. In several South American countries, a quinta is a property located outside the urban center of a city but which, at the same time, is close to it.

These houses, which usually have large dimensions, are used for rest or recreational purposes during weekends or vacations : “Tomorrow I'm going to Luis's villa to celebrate his birthday,” “Do you want to come to the villa with us? ” .
