A pavilion can be a kiosk.

Pavilion is a term that has its etymological origin in the Old French paveillon . It can be a tent or tent that has a conical appearance thanks to the use of various stakes and ropes.

For example: “When it started to rain, we took refuge in the food pavilion” , “The fair is made up of several pavilions where artisans offer their products” , “I would like to install a pavilion in the garden to sleep outside in the hottest nights.”

Within the anatomy sector, the word in question is also used. Specifically, this refers to what is known as the pinna of the ear . It is a term used to refer to the outside of the ear.

In other countries this term is used with another meaning. This would be the case, for example, of Colombia, where a pavilion is synonymous with large rockets that offer great luminosity.

In the gastronomy of Venezuela , pabellón criollo is a dish that has rice, fried meat, banana (fruit also known as plantain), cheese and other ingredients.

All this without forgetting the existence of the expression “the pavilion does not cover the merchandise.” It can have several meanings. However, the most common is that which refers to an authority protecting things that are not legal.
