Stay

Ranch

A ranch is a rural establishment.

Stay is a term with several uses. In Latin America , a ranch is a country estate that is used for livestock and agriculture . It is a rural establishment that includes a hull (the house with other structures, such as stables, silos, etc.) and land for cultivation and grazing. The ranches can be compared to Mexican haciendas or North American ranches .

Currently, many ranches are also used for tourism . Travelers can spend the night in the center of the ranch and learn about the different agricultural and livestock activities carried out in the fields.

For example: "Next weekend we are going to visit a ranch in the province of Entre Ríos" , "My grandfather has a ranch with hundreds of cows and sheep" , "The owners of Patagonia are those foreigners who own large ranches" .

The stay as a chamber or permanence and in poetry

A room is also a room , chamber or seat in a house, place or place: "I'm going to retire to my room: if there's any news, don't forget to let me know," "The lady is resting in her room."

Stay is, on the other hand, the permanence of a person in a certain place for a certain time: «Santiago's stay in Guadalajara was very productive since he managed to complete several businesses» , «During my stay in the south I had the opportunity to get to know beautiful landscapes» , «My stay in Japan was short, but it helped me put my knowledge into practice, and I feel that my pronunciation has improved significantly» .

In poetry , stay is a stanza that is composed of more than six hendecasyllabic and heptasyllabic verses, which rhyme according to the poet's will and which repeat their structure throughout the entire poem .

Pet

An animal shelter or sanctuary can be called a stay.

Sanctuaries and animal shelters

An animal sanctuary is a geographic space, such as a field, that serves as a home for dozens of animals that are rescued from a life destined for exploitation and premature death. In a facility of this type, an attempt is made to give the animals their freedom , even within a limited geographical area.

It is worth mentioning that sanctuaries differ from shelters in that they do not look for homes for the animals they rescue, but rather they are their home themselves. There are, however, hybrids , sites that provide permanent shelter to certain individuals, while attempting to relocate others.

The main objective of a sanctuary is to provide animals with the security that they cannot find in the outside world, through all possible care (generally dependent on the financial aid they receive from the community). A sanctuary represents a small paradise within a scenario of legalized abuse: it does not seek to profit from the animals, but rather to give them a space to live in peace , without obligations imposed by humans, without mistreatment.

Ranches as a resource to protect animal rights

It is encouraging that there are dozens of sanctuaries in the world, despite the fact that humans continue to be, for the most part, an exploitative species. Many sanctuaries publish daily photos and videos on social networks to share with their followers the incredible experiences they live in their peculiar work: animals teach us lessons of respect that show how far we have moved away from our roots.

In an animal sanctuary, everyone has the same importance. Its collaborators do everything possible to protect the resident animals and generate income through the production of t-shirts and other promotional items, as well as selfless donations. In general, all offers of collaboration are welcome, given that caring for other living beings entails a series of arduous tasks. There is no more just act than helping animals escape the humiliation and abuse they suffer daily at the hands of individuals of our own species.
