Volcano

For geology, an eruption is the expulsion of matter through an opening or crack in the Earth's crust.

Eruption is a concept that can be used in the field of geology to name the emission of matter (whether solid, liquid or gaseous) through cracks or openings in the Earth's crust . The most common thing is to associate the term with volcanoes , when the eruptions are violent, although there are also other types of eruptions (such as those that occur in solfataras ).

It is very difficult to predict volcanic eruptions. Sometimes, these are preceded by seismic movements and the emission of fumaroles (a mixture of gases and vapors). The substance expelled by volcanoes during eruptions is known as lava , a viscous magma with temperatures above 700 ºC.

It should be noted that, according to their characteristics, volcanic eruptions receive different names. It is possible to speak of a Hawaiian eruption , a Krakatoan eruption , a Strombolian eruption , a submarine eruption , etc.

Volcanic eruptions throughout history

There are many volcanic eruptions that have occurred throughout history and that have caused serious consequences throughout the world. However, among the most significant, due to their scope and the damage caused, are, for example, that of Vesuvius in the year 79 AD. c.

The city of Herculaneum was the one that was completely buried by the violent and forceful eruption of the Vesuvius volcano, which was initially considered to be extinct but with this action it was shown that this was not the case.

The eruption of Krakatoa in 1883 , of Tambora in 1815 or that of Kelut in 1586 were other of the most important and bloody of those that have occurred to this day. And they caused 36,417, 82,000 and 10,000 deaths respectively.

sun explosion

Nor could we ignore the existence of what is known as a solar flare . It is a unique natural phenomenon that results in an explosion in the photosphere of the sun.

In 1859 was when, for the first time, this event was known, which occurred much more forcefully in 2003 and 1989 .

Dermatitis

A dermatological rash consists of redness or swelling of the skin.

Rash in dermatology

For dermatology , a rash is the appearance of swelling or redness on the skin or mucous membranes, which represents a change in texture and color. These may be pimples, spots, vesicles, hives, bruises or other types of lumps.

The simple skin rash , known as dermatitis , can have different causes. Contact dermatitis is caused when the skin touches certain chemicals or poisons, such as some detergents or plants such as ivy.

There are many causes that can cause a skin rash to occur. Among those we could highlight everything from medications to bites from various insects to situations of stress or fear.

Regardless of any of the origins of the condition, we should highlight the need for those who have it not to scratch, not to use cosmetics or soaps, and to use warm water to wash.

Seborrheic dermatitis is a rash that appears around the eyelids, eyebrows, behind the ears, or on the scalp. Oily skin, stress and extreme temperatures contribute to its appearance.

Chickenpox, measles , rubella, herpes and psoriasis are diseases that also cause skin rashes.
