Forward refers to what is beyond.
Forward is a term that, as an adverb , can be used in different ways. The concept refers to what is beyond .
For example: “As we move forward the road is in worse condition: I don't think we can continue further” , “I think I know the woman who is eating at the table in front of us” , “In the line at the bank, in front of me was Manuel's aunt."
Different uses of the term forward
The notion can be used together with certain prepositions or other adverbs to refer to the future : “From now on, every time you want to enter my office, you will have to knock on the door first,” “I want to travel to Uruguay to visit my brother but I don't have money: the trip will have to be left for later” , “The boss said that, from now on, the company will no longer pay productivity bonuses” .
As an interjection , forward is used to tell a person to continue with what they are doing or to enter a certain space: “Go ahead, continue with your story,” “Go ahead! The door is open” , “I'm a little tired but go ahead, tell me what the conflict is and I will try to help you” .
Moving forward means moving forward.
Title of publications and different works
“Adelante” , on the other hand, is the name of several publications. The Communist Party of Argentina , the Communist Party of Paraguay and the Federation of Argentine Socialist Youth had newspapers with this name.
In the same way, we cannot ignore that the term in question has been widely used within the cultural and entertainment sphere. Thus, for example, one of the most successful television series of the last decades in Spain was “Unstep forward” .
Created by Daniel Écija , it was broadcast between 2002 and 2005 . It consisted of 84 chapters and revolved around a School of Performing Arts directed by Carmen Arranz , played by Lola Herrera . It showed the viewer the daily life of the teachers but, above all, of the students who worked hard to make their dream of becoming dancers, singers or actors come true.
Pablo Puyol, Beatriz Luengo, Monica Cruz,Miguel Angel Muñoz y Asier Etxeandía, entre otros, fueron los jóvenes actores que interpretaron a los personajes de la serie. Es más, incluso algunos de estos llegaron a formar en realidad un grupo musical, llamado UPA Dance, que triunfó con canciones como “Brunette” y “Sambame”.
The Chilean folklore group Quilapayún , for its part, released an album titled “Adelante” in 1975 . That same title was given to the album of the television program “Operación Triumph” in Spain at the end of 2006 .
Liga Adelante
We cannot ignore that, within what football is, in Spain there was the so-called Liga Adelante . This is what the Second Division championship was called, between the 2008-09 and 2015-16 seasons.
In the last season in which the tournament was known as Liga Adelante, Deportivo Alavés became champion. In this way he was promoted directly along with the runner-up ( Leganés ).
