Its channel is usually narrow.
- Dejection cone : it is the lower course of the river and is also known as a fan . The slope is abruptly interrupted, which results in a weakening of the waters and the deposit of the materials it carried. At this point, the riverbank divides into several arms and this gives the typical triangular shape of the cone.
