For this reason, professionals who work in a hospital must take into account and strictly follow these regulations in this regard:
- There must be signs to indicate that these are operating rooms and that access to outside personnel is prohibited.
- They have to be acoustically insulated.
- The walls should be smooth so that it is easier to clean them.
- The environment, in order to avoid bacteria, must be determined by a maximum temperature of 21º and a relative humidity of 50%.
- Professionals who are going to participate in an operation must be equipped with clean and sterilized pajamas, and must also wear masks and hats, while covering their feet.
- In the same way, they should wash their hands thoroughly and then put on gloves . This wash should be done for approximately five minutes with the recommended product and paying special attention to the nails and fingers.
