Private

Padlock

What is private has a private owner and is not for public or state use.

From the Latin privatus , private is that which remains or is carried out in the sight of a few, in a family or domestic manner and without any formality . For example: “I am not going to speak publicly about my private acts , “This is not the first time that a multimillionaire businessman organizes a private concert and hires internationally famous singers” , “Can you leave for a minute, please? “I want to talk to my son in private.”

Private is also the space, building or property that does not belong to the State (and therefore, is not public), but rather its owner is a private individual: “Entering without authorization is prohibited: private property,” “I am going to ask you to leave.” since this is a private space that exercises the right of admission” , “The legislation indicates that you cannot smoke in public buildings, but you can in private ones” .

At the economic level, the private sector is made up of economic actors that carry out for-profit activities and that do not belong to the sphere of the State. Coca-Cola , for example, is a company that is part of the private sector, while a state company belongs to the public sector.

private law

Private law is the branch of law that is dedicated to the regulation of relationships between individuals that are raised in their own name and benefit.

Among the fundamental principles of private law we can mention the principle of equality (all subjects are on an equal footing with respect to their private acts) and autonomy of will (each party acts based on its own interests).

Internet

Browsing the Internet in private mode reduces the traces left by the user.

Internet and navigation

In 2005, the Safari browser presented to the entire world the possibility of browsing without leaving traces of the sites visited and without storing its cookies. Although, in principle, users did not show great interest, the competition quickly understood that it was an innovative idea and did not miss the opportunity to incorporate it into their browsers: in a short time, Chrome , Internet Explorer and Firefox had their own version of private browsing .

Although it is a function that opens many doors for users, the general conception has made it a mere hiding place to consume pornography and illegal content, quite unfortunate decisions if one takes into account that private browsing does not hide the IP address . which gives authorities the ability to track criminals, just as in normal mode.

Advantages of browsing privately

Listed below are some of the true advantages of private browsing:

* allows you to open different sessions in parallel . Many users have more than one email account, and while some companies offered the ability to link two or more addresses for a while, most have abandoned this functionality for security reasons. Thanks to private browsing, anyone can consult two boxes simultaneously. This extends, of course, to any online application that requires login to use;

* Protects your computer from untrustworthy sites . Pornography and illegal download sites are not the only focus of virtual attacks . In fact, the presence of a virus or malware is not necessary to desire a higher level of privacy ; certain pages collect more information about us than we would like, and private browsing is just what is needed to avoid such an invasion;

* makes sharing a computer safer . When two or more people use the same computer and do not want others to know what sites they visit, or what forms they complete and with what information, browsing privately is the perfect solution. Not only does it ensure that it will not reveal our Internet activity, but it also keeps data as important as our credit card numbers safe.
