Pristine is a qualification that receives that which is pure, clean or shiny.

Pristine is a term that comes from the Latin word pristĭnus . It is an adjective that refers to the primordial , primitive or archaic . For example: "The pride of the town is a pristine church from the 13th century that remains impeccable" , "The fossils correspond to a pristine creature from the area" , "The pristine man did not have an advanced language developed" .

Within the world of history, the use of concrete that concerns us now is also used. Specifically, it is common to resort to the use of so-called pristine civilizations , which define the first forms of socio-political organization that existed in a certain area. Those, therefore, emerged thousands of years ago and are popularly known as mother civilizations . This name identifies Egypt , Mesopotamia , China and even India .

This definition of the concept is opposed to the usual use that is usually given to it. Something shiny , which has little or no use , is usually referred to as pristine. Pristine, in this case, is precisely the opposite of what the original meaning implies, collected by the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) : «Look at the sneakers I found on the street: they are pristine, they seem to have no use» , «The automobile "It was pristine after washing."

Pristina , without an accent on the first I , is the name of a region in the Balkans that is in dispute. For the Kosovar authorities, Pristina is the capital city of their nation . This condition, however, is not recognized by the other States that are part of the international community. For most countries, Pristina is an autonomous province that is part of Serbia .

With almost 200,000 inhabitants, Pristina is a major city in Eastern Europe . Its story begins in the Roman Empire , with a city located a few kilometers from its current location.

Until World War II , Pristina was mostly inhabited by Serbs and Albanians. The ethnic confrontation worsened and the Serbs began to deport Muslim Albanians. With the outbreak of war , Nazism began to persecute the Serbs. Kosovo eventually became an autonomous region in which ethnic conflicts continued.
