Definition of

SOP

SOPThe acronym PNT is used in some countries to refer to non-traditional advertising . It is an advertisement that is inserted into the development of a radio or television program , and is not broadcast in a separate segment as usual.

The PNT , known as chivo in colloquial language , is used to disseminate a service or product outside of a batch or advertising break . This prevents the listener or viewer from avoiding advertising by changing the station or channel. Another advantage of the PNT is that it is cheaper to produce compared to a traditional notice.

There are several types of PNT . One of the most common is the live mention made by the host of the program ( “When summer comes, I choose to cool off with juices…” ). The broadcast of a short recorded spot is also common.

The presentation of a sponsored section ( "This note is sponsored by..." ) and the display of advertising posters in a sector of the screen are other common resources.

It is important to mention that PNT can appear in fiction programs , such as series or soap operas, and even in movies . The characters can consume a certain candy or travel in vehicles of a certain brand , to mention two possibilities.

PNT , on the other hand, is the acronym that identified the New Triunfo Party . It is a political group that was born in 1990 in Argentina and that ceased to exist in 2009 , when the Justice ratified that it would not be granted legal status due to the anti-Semitic and close to Nazi content of its doctrine and proposals.

We can also interpret this acronym as standard operating procedures , which in English are known as standard operating procedures ( SOP ). It is a series of documents that are written to establish the guidelines that a company must follow so that its quality policies are implemented. It is important to note that this is a requirement of Good Manufacturing Practices and legislation.

SOPGood Manufacturing Practices are a series of mandatory guides that companies must follow to guarantee the correct use of their resources when manufacturing products . Given the complexity of the business world, it is not always appropriate to use the terms SOP or SOP (which is also used in our language), but sometimes others are preferred such as protocols, policies, laboratory analytical methods, worksheets or instructions. .

SOPs must meet a series of requirements, some of which are listed below:

* Your writing must be concise and clear. In other words, it should not give rise to doubts or double interpretations;

* any employee or external auditor who has adequate professional training should be able to read them without problem;

* must satisfy all Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.

Regarding the elements that we must include in the standard operating procedures, the following should not be missing: an explicit description of the reason why they are written; the field in which they will be applied; the main requirements that must be implemented; the sources on which it is based.

The instance in which a SOP comes into effect cannot take place until it has been reviewed by one or more people trained specifically for this process and approved by a boss or supervisor. In fact, in companies there is a registry where it is officially established who must carry out these tasks. In other words, the employee who writes the procedures is not the one who must do the review or give approval.
