Pine

The site populated with pine trees is called a pine forest.

A pine forest is a place populated by pine trees . Pine trees, from the Latin pinus , are trees that belong to the Abietaceae family. They are characterized by their narrow, pointed leaves and their high, straight trunk. The seed of the pine is known as piñon , while its fruit is the pineapple .

Pine forests, therefore, are spaces that have a high concentration of these trees with pyramidal or rounded crowns. A pine forest can be native (natural) or have been developed for forestry or ornamental reasons.

For example: "This summer we are going to camp in the pine forest," "The storm caused serious damage to the pine forest, knocking down hundreds of trees," "I recommend you go to the beach next to the pine forest: it is very quiet."

We are referring to the Sierra de Pinar , close to towns such as Zahara de la Sierra and Grazalema . Among its most important peaks is the so-called Torreón , which reaches 1654 meters above sea level.
