World

Planet

The idea of world can refer to our planet.

The concept of world comes from the Latin mundus which, in turn, has its origin in a Greek word. The term has various uses and meanings, with different scopes. One of them refers to the set of all created things . For example: “The new model of the Japanese manufacturer has been chosen as the best car in the world” , “Several projects aim to build the tallest building in the world” .

Based on this meaning, it must be emphasized that human beings have always had great concerns regarding it. On the one hand, there is the origin of the world. Thus, for religious people like Christians, it was God who carried out its creation and who established Adam and Eve as its first inhabitants.

However, scientists, logically, opt for another totally disparate version where they do not take into account the figure of any god as the creator. Specifically, they establish the origin known as the Big Ban Theory, which would be based on the conjunction of a series of spatiotemporal, physical and paradoxical elements.
