Pillars to achieve the desired results

It is important to emphasize that management, whose primary objective is to increase the optimal results of an industry or company, fundamentally depends on four basic pillars thanks to which it can ensure that the set goals are met.

In this sense, the first of the aforementioned pillars is what is recognized as a strategy. That is, the set of lines and layouts of the steps that must be carried out, taking into account factors such as the market or the consumer, to consolidate the actions and make them effective.

The second basic pillar is culture or, in other words, the group of actions to promote the values of the company in question, to strengthen it, to reward the achievements achieved and to be able to make appropriate decisions. Added to all this is the third axis of management: structure. Under this concept what is hidden are actions to promote cooperation, to design ways to share knowledge and to place the best qualified people at the forefront of initiatives.

The fourth and final pillar is execution, which consists of making appropriate and timely decisions, promoting improved productivity and satisfying consumer needs.

Types of management

It is important to highlight that there are different types of management. Social management , for example, consists of the construction of different spaces to promote and make possible interaction between different actors in a society.

Project management , for its part, is the discipline that is responsible for organizing and managing resources in such a way that all the work required for a project can be completed within the available time and budget.

Another type of management is knowledge management (from English knowledge management ). It is a concept applied in organizations, which refers to the transfer of existing knowledge and experience among its members. In this way, this wealth of knowledge can be used as a resource available to all members of the same organization.

Finally, it should be noted that environmental management covers the group of tasks focused on the control of the environmental system based on sustainable development . Environmental management is a tactic through which anthropic actions are established that influence the environment in order to achieve an optimal quality of life .
