The first step we are going to take in order to know the meaning of the term fierce is to discover its etymological origin. In this case, we can emphasize that it is a word that is a cultism derived from Latin, exactly from “ferox, ferocis.” This in turn comes from the noun “fera”, which can be translated as “wild animal”.
This adjective is used to describe an animal that is characterized by its aggressiveness or fierceness . For example: “My neighbor has a ferocious dog that terrifies the entire neighborhood,” “Be careful: the jungle is full of ferocious animals,” “A ferocious bear chased the girl for several meters.”
The condition of ferocity is often associated with evil . But, in the case of animals , there is no bad intention in their actions, but rather instinct and behavior marked by natural laws. Ferocious animals, therefore, can be very aggressive, such as certain species of bears, crocodiles, sharks and wolves.
The figure of the big bad wolf , in fact, appears frequently in children's literature. In this case, it is an evil character who acts as an antagonist. In stories like “The Three Little Pigs” (also known as “The Three Little Pigs” , “The Three Little Pigs” or “The Three Pigs” ) and “Little Red Riding Hood” there is a ferocious wolf that seeks to harm the protagonists.

It premiered in 1984 under the direction of Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón and with a cast made up of actors of the stature of Fernando Fernán Gómez, Frédéric de Pasquale and Elene Lizarralde, among others.
It revolves around the figure of Pablo, a young man who one day gets lost in the forest and is about to lose his life due to the attack of some dogs.
However, “Feroz” is also the title of a horror feature film from 2000, starring actresses Emily Perkins and Katharine Isabelle.
Fierce is something that stands out for its intensity : “A fierce storm wreaked havoc on the coastal city,” “Many vehicles were damaged by the ferocious hailstorm.”
In the same way, we cannot ignore that Feroz is the name of a brand of baby shoes and it is also the nickname by which a former contestant of "Big Brother 12 Spain" is known. This one, really called Julio Granado, was expelled from the reality show by the organization along with another participant, Flor, because they made a show as a couple to make people talk on the program and outside of it.
