The notion of encompassing has its origin in an adverbial phrase: en globo . A balloon , on the other hand, is a sphere or an object made of a flexible material that contains something inside.
Precisely for this reason, in many countries around the world the verb englobar is used to refer to the action of inflating a balloon. Hence, mention is even made of ballooning machines, which are responsible for inflating balloons quickly for a party, fair or similar celebration.
The concept of encompassing , in this context, is used to refer to the act of gathering, containing or enclosing different elements in the same set or place . For example: “To analyze the country's economy as a whole we must include the statistics of the various regional economies that are part of the national territory” , “By including the salary, prizes and bonuses, we can see that this footballer has income that exceed 800,000 pesos per month,” “We propose to encompass all activities linked to the graphic design business in the same company.”

Encompassing implies grouping together certain units that have different characteristics from each other or that, in the first instance, remain isolated or separated. A good example of this is football where, based on the criterion of how old they are, , players are included in different categories of the same club so that they can participate in the corresponding competitions that exist.
