Training

Teaching

The training of managers and employees is important in the corporate environment.

Training is called the act and result of training : training, instructing, training or educating someone. Training seeks for a person to acquire capabilities or skills to carry out certain actions.

For example: "Tomorrow there will be a training day for the nursing staff at the municipal hospital" , "When I was hired, I had a month of training before starting to serve the public" , "I don't think Gómez should be the technical director of the national team: it does not have sufficient training .

Training in companies

The idea of training appears in different contexts. Companies usually allocate resources to train their employees: the greater the training of workers , the better results in terms of productivity, customer satisfaction, etc. Depending on the case, training may include language teaching, training in a computer system or other types of instruction.

It is important to note that the need to apply training processes in companies begins when a difference is detected between the knowledge that workers have and what they should have to carry out their tasks . To demonstrate this lack of balance, performance evaluations are usually carried out with a certain frequency.

Nowadays, in many companies there are no longer statically defined jobs, since constant changes in the organization usually lead employees to cover several fields. While this does not mean that each person must have more than one specialty, market demands and tight delivery dates cannot always be satisfied with normal and orderly activity.

Learning

Training promotes learning and the acquisition of skills.

Process stages

Training in the business field must be applied in different stages, each with its own characteristics and needs, and in all cases it is an invaluable investment of time, energy and money. Let's look at the four main ones:

* induction : this is the training that the company provides to workers when they join, before they begin their normal performance. Supervisors are usually responsible for this training phase, as only they know exactly what knowledge and skills their team members need. For the action to be planned and uniform, the guidelines must be written down;

* training : this training is received by operational personnel, generally in the same workplace, when new technologies or functions arise that the company expects them to know and master as part of their daily tasks;

* basic training : it is carried out in companies of a certain level, and consists of training young people with special preparation, with general knowledge of the entire organization, and then assigning them to different positions;

* boss development : it is one of the most difficult undertakings, since this type of training seeks to form attitudes , rather than provide skills or knowledge. While management is involved in the other processes, in this one the action of general management and the highest levels of the company is necessary.

Teacher training

The notion of teacher training refers to the processes that are carried out so that teachers and professors are prepared to teach their students.

These processes involve the transmission of knowledge, but also education about behaviors and attitudes that a teacher should have in the classroom.

The notion in cytology

In the field of cytology , the last phase of sperm development is called capacitation. At this stage , the male gamete becomes capable of achieving fertilization of the oocyte.

The training of the sperm within the framework of a sexual relationship occurs after ejaculation, when contact is made with fluids present in the female genital area.
